Enhancing greenspace in the gateway communities that surround the Great Trinity Forest is important to the people we serve. There are always opportunities for volunteers to participate in community plantings, cleanups and general spruce-up events in our gateway communities.

Earth Day 2008- volunteers from NBC 5 and the community planted over 4,000 native plants along a median in the Jubilee neighborhood near Fair Park

August 2005- church and community volunteers cleared sidewalks and gutters along Bexar Street in the Ideal neighborhood
